Adult ADHD Assessment and Medical Treatment
Moorhead Medical provides medical assessment and treatment for adults with ADHD, working collaboratively with MODUS Therapy and ADHD Assessment where appropriate.
ADHD assessment are provided independently by Victoria Moorhead through MODUS Therapy & ADHD Assessment. Following an ADHD diagnosis, adults who wish to explore medication can arrange a separate face to face medical assessment with Dr Stephen Moorhead at Moorhead Medical.
With the patient's consent, the two clinicians can communicate directly regarding assessment findings and subsequent treatment. This provides continuity whilst ensuring that assessment and medical treatment remain separate services, with each clinician working independently within their own professional role.
Medication is not guaranteed and will only be prescribed following an appropriate medical assessment where Dr Moorhead considers treatment clinically suitable and safe.
Shared care arrangements may be requested where appropriate but are subject to the agreement of the patient's NHS GP and cannot be guaranteed.

For adults who have received an ADHD diagnosis and wish to explore medical treatment, Dr Stephen Moorhead provides a face to face medical assessment to consider whether treatment is clinically appropriate and safe.

Relevant physical-health checks and monitoring

Treatment initiation and titration where clinically appropriate

Ongoing medical reviews and support
